Joy White knows what it means to reach the pinnacle of success. Inspired to be like her childhood and lifelong inspiration, Clair Huxtable of The Cosby Show, Joy set her first goal at the early age of 5 years old.

A graduate of the illustrious Spelman College and Vanderbilt University Law School, Joy White has built a life and career fit for envy: an esteemed employment attorney, former Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel at the prestigious Morehouse College, and Managing Partner at her own law firm, The White Legal Group LLC.

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”

— Audre Lorde

What people are saying

Tonya Fewell

“What is truly inspiring about Joy is that she is not content to keep her success to herself. Instead, she generously shares her message of perseverance and fortitude with others, encouraging them to never give up on their dreams despite any challenges that may arise. I have seen her do this firsthand as a keynote presenter at the SHE Women's Retreat, an international cross-generational women's retreat hosted by Bridge Every Gap.”

Keilani Kimes-Parker

“Joy has a unique and effective approach to coaching that avoids making you feel lectured or dejected. Instead, I walked away from our sessions feeling inspired and powerful. I grew so much mentally, professionally, and spiritually and now have more than enough tools to create the life that I want.”

Jamila Thomas

“In Joy, I have a life coach who really understands me and what it means to be a single mother and professional black woman in America. Joy’s services focus on bringing out your entire best whole self, not in just one area. Through our sessions, I was able to dig into deeper and more meaningful self-discovery, gaining valuable tools and techniques to elevate my growth mentally, professionally, and even physically.”

Chi-Ante Jones

“Joy is an outstanding mentor, hard-working attorney, and engaged member of the community. Joy served as my mentor in the Spelman Sister to Sister program, where she volunteered her time, skills, and network to help me support me during my senior year. She has provided me with academic, professional, and personal support not only during the term of the Sister to Sister mentorship but also well after the program ended.”
